C'est un longtemp que je fais des blog en francaise. Oui, un tres longtemp. Je suis en travaille pour des dernier moins. Il y a beaucoup des aventuriers, des chose qui me fache et aussi triste. Mais, je pense la vie n'est pas toujour parfait. Peut-etre un peu trist, un peu fatigue. Mais, nous avons des familles et notre amitie. Toujour.

Quand j'ai vu des famille qui passe leur temp en joie, je suis tres envieux. Dans quelque annees, si je suis marie? avec qui? un homme de ma vie? . Peut-etre j'ai des enfants? un? deux ou trois?
Pour moi, J'ai un reve simple. Je veut un famille heureux et dans amoureux. Des amies qui me supporte. Pour beaucoup des autres, ils ont besoin des travaille. mais ce n'est pas pour moi.

Je suis tres contente si j'ai mon famille et amies. En chinois, nous le appelons "une femme petit". Oui, je suis d'accord. C'est moi... Toujour.

Mais je suis deja jeune. Dans un quelque annee, je veut reussi avec mon travaille et peut etre jamais marie.

I'm tired... Actually, I can't wait to go back to schooL! CAn you believe it? No right? Never mind. save this. And when i'm whining abt sch you can brandish it in my face... Right...

I've been having a hard time today at the tuition centre. My Student suddenly "forgot" his basics, 3 months before his PSLE and we have to go back to chapter 1 page 1. Converting words into number eg. one thousand five hundred and twenty three (1523). He forgot! And now i'm so stressed.

Unbelievable right? Me who is never stressed abt school is stressed abt others' grades?

The good side of the whole week is that when i go to bed in an hour's time, i'll wake up on a bright and cheerful thursday with 1 more day in the workweek. Weekends... Here I come!!!

ya.. i realised it's been ages since i last update. I can't help it! The whole of last week has been hell. including today, i have been working for 8 consecutive days. 7 whole days of OTs. That was because sunday was the racial harmony street parade. Actually after all the hard work, i was kinda proud when i saw the event turning out as a huge success, impressing all the VIPs, MPs and Ambassadors as well as the residents.

Backtracking to last monday ( 7 days to event):
I spent monday to thursday working OT Everyday running around the office, calling pple, getting ready all the necessary tools.

However, On friday, I had earlier on taken half a day leave from my boss. so I left the office at 1. However, what kept plaguing me was the staff meeting scheduled at 2pm. They were delegating out the reponsibilities of sunday and I wasn't there. At first i was in charge of assisting another in the beauty pageant at the carnival. However, my Big boss took me off the job to assist her. She was in charge ofmaking sure all the MPs, Ambassadors and grassroots leaders enjoy the performance and that it proceeded perfectly. So i was suppose to tagged along. Anyway, since it was the last weekday before the big day i was kinda worried about leaving early.

Anyway, I arrived home just in time to Bathe, change into my spaghetti strap black dress, put make up and contacts before rushing out to catch a cab. So much so that i forgotten any chains or earrings. Actually friday, 14th July was the French National Day Reception in which my choir mates and i was performing with the Singapore and French National Anthem. Unfortunately, we arrived late that we missed the phototaking with the french ambassador and his wife. we missed the full dress rehersal! but thankfully, we were able to get a quick update from our other performers. While mingling, i enjoyed a glass of white wine to calm myself down before the performance.

Before the performance, I mingled with My friends and Performers many of who are or was studying in alliance francaise, the french school. I enjoyed myself, making several new friends in the process. At 7 , it was showtime. We proceeded up the stage where the ambassador of france, Jean Paul Reau toasted our Minister Ho Peng Kee ( we sang our national anthem then) and our minister returning the toast in kind (The french national anthem then). After which, we proceeded to eat their food, drink their wine and mingle with their guest.

At the beginning, i was quite painfully shy and stayed with my fellow performers enjoying a glass of champagne while Adelyn and Karine was talking to the Korean Ambassador and his wife a short distance awhile. Maybe it was the champagne and the white wine earlier. But soon enough, i joined them in mingling with the guests, while several presented us with their name cards. Truly, i enjoyed myself talking to them. Especially since many were interesting and humorous. While talking to them, they just seemed like normal people rather then bigwigs who own or lead major MNCs.

We stayed right till the end of the party when many of the guests have left and we talked to the people from the embassy. They're a group of energetic, warm, friendly and interesting individuals and i seriously hope to join them next time. I hOpe. Haha...

While waiting for my parents, we again met up with them who was on their way home, when one of the guys, being the gentleman that he is, presented both me and adelyn a stalk of rose each.. WELL .... Can't really remember his name .. I remembered him as the ST guy... haha.. anyway, after thanking him politely, we went back to teasing clarence about not being the one to get the roses for us. Well.. a nice way to end a perfect night.

Saturday, i went for french class. Thankfully despite my 2 glasses of wine and no food, i did not suffer any complaints or hungover. French class was ok i guess.. my teacher presented me with a list of presentations subjects to choose from. This would take up 20% of my overall grades for my french exam at the end of this semester. Wow.. as I'm typing i just remembered about it. Can't believe i completely forgotten about that!

After french singing class, I went back to work. It was about 2.45pm, and thanks to my tiny document bag, i didn't have a umbrella with me when it started raining. Genius right? anyway.. I was the only one other then my 2 bosses who was back to work in the weekends to finish up all the things just one day before the BIG DAY.

At 8pm, my bossed ordered in pizze, just for me! can you believe what a nice boss i have! Well, i had a quick dinner before turning back to do up presentation slides for the beauty pageant. I was so stressed up and i was ready to cry by the time 10 came and i still had a million things waiting for me to do. By 11.45, I called it quits and my boss took a cab to drive me home.

My Workplace was at Punggol and she lives at Compassvale, somewhere nearby, but she took the trouble to drive me all the way home before coming back again. I still think my boss is a really nice woman.. Well.. she expects alot from a staff. High Commitment and Efficiency but to be fair she treats us very well too. But i was too exhausted to say anything especially when I reach home at midnight

BIG DAY ARRIVES

I arrived at the office at 10 in the morning, feeling like i barely slept the previous evening. Dying, i attempt to try and complete everything before the event starts. Thankfully, I did it at about 12 and head off for a half hour lunch break before coming back to do other stuff. By2pm, the office started getting busy what with grassroot leaders coming in and out of the office, 2 of my other colleagues finally arrived. Meanwhile, 2 others had set off to the carnival site.

By 2.30pm, i had followed my boss to street parade site. Basically it's quite simple. There is two large site at two different location. Site 1 is the street parade where the road was barricade from 3pm onwards. There, there are 2 viewing gallery points of about 500metres away while site 2 is at the carnival at about ... erm... very very far lah, basically. Think blk 175 and blk 108 behind.

Anyway, after running about the whole day, my day finally finished at 9pm. Well, the event hadn't finished, but i checked with my boss and she said dun need me liao so what do i do? Of course go lah!! Right? haha... Yep.. Managed to reach home slightly before 10... Catch my TV programme at 11 till 1230 before collapsing.

And before i knew it, it's 7am the next day and off to work i go! So right now, that's 8 days down and 4 more days to go! Remind me again about my presentation next sat again... Thank goodness I have some rest time before starting up again for the national day dinner *horror*.

Okie sharon.. i think that's more then enough to occupy you for at least 15mins right? Have fun ! Haha...

It's so good to meet up with old friends. Today, I went to Esther Lim's birthday party. Quite a few old friends from sec and pri sch turned up. Although it has been many years since i last saw them, i think after sec 4... but it's still nice to see them. Of course, in some situation i felt awkward and inept because there's lulls in conversation. But i think ultimately, it has been wonderful. I haven't felt so good in years. It felt like when i was younger again. All those carefree days when there's no worries. No stress... no need to think too much about the future. Those good old days.. But honestly, It was good catching up what each of us has been up to.

I kinda envy the tightness of 4E though... They still have class reunion every so often, barbeques, shopping trips etc. Oh well.. i guess you can't have the cake and eat it. Besides, everyone's busy with their own life, their own careers...

Ok.. I'm off to watch England V Portugal liao! CIao!!
