I'm back!!! In case those of you haven't noticed - yes,I was out of town over the weekends.
So here are some of the pictures taken on the trip - Enjoy !!
Presenting ....
Royal Caribbean , Legend of the Seas:
Arrival at Harbourfront:
Arrived at 11+ at harbourfront centre, after a swift check in , we boarded with much anticipation to be greeted by warm, friendly beams.
Lunch at Deck 9 @ Windjammer Cafe:Met up with my cousin who boarded with her family first at the cafe where we eat, and wait for our rooms to be ready.. and did i mention... eat.
Checking into the Room:
By 1pm, we were ready to check into the room. My brother and I shared a room...
Exploring the Ship:
So after a quick unpacking done quite haphazardly, we set off to explore the large ship
The Casino, the theater (where my aunt, my brother and I performed a cabaret), We were dragged up to the deck for a demostration of what to do in emergencies as well... See there where we looked as if we were standing in a single file awaiting execution...
Formal Night: Dining out at the main dining room (Romeo & Juliet Dining Hall)
All of us were dressed up the the nines on the first day to dine at the formal dining area on deck 4. The men were in coats, long sleeves and ties while the ladies were in dresses. The attentive dining attendant and his assistant were friendly and entertaining.
After which, we headed to the lounge for a little champagne. compliments from the captain for all of us in the Lounge (Kids excluded)
Day 2: Morning
Had breakfast with my aunt and grandma while the rest of the folks were still abed, and my cousin sun tanning on deck 11.
Noon: Ashore @ Penang
Arrived at Penang at 12pm and proceeded to disembark at 2pm to explore Penang with the tour.
Monkey Business
Came back to see this decoration in our cabin - A monkey folded by our suite attendant.
My brother attached my sunglasses atop the monkey - and my genius brother decided to take it out to examine it. Guess what? Plop ... the head drops off the monket - Tries to stuff it back but it didn't look the same again...
Day 3: Lunch
The ship arrived at Port Klang but we had decided not to disembark, preferring to explore the rest of the ship.
The Library:
Line Dancing & Bingo Games:
Final Night Dining: Farewell from all at the Dining Room we had a glass of wine each with our dinner (excluding the kids again)... and the dining room staff prepared a spectacular farewell performance where they sang an italian song.
- This is not taken by us and posted by youtube but by other participants aboard
After dinner, we decided to step out to enjoy the breeze and another glass of wine.
It wasn't a breeze... more like a gale actually. Not to exaggerate, but we could feel the impact of the wind pushing us back with heavy hands... more like a gale actually.
Enjoying the .... Breeze:
Rock n' Roll Night: Partying to Dawn: With the 'high' mood from all sides, the ship party-ed till dawn with rock n roll fever...
